National Institute of Materials Physicsمعرفی
Dr. Andreea-Alexandra Nila is a Scientific Researcher at the National Institute of Materials Physics (INFIM), specializing in optical and structural properties of nanostructured materials. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Bucharest (2019), a Master's in Physics (2015), and a Bachelor's in Chemistry (2013) from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Her expertise includes atomistic simulations (DFT), XRD analysis, and advanced spectroscopic techniques like PL, Raman, and FT-IR.
- Education:
- Ph.D.: University of Bucharest, Physics (2015-2019)
- Master: University of Bucharest, Physics (2013-2015)
- Bachelor: Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Chemistry (2009-2013)
Her research focuses on semiconductor materials, hybrid organic-inorganic nanostructures, and optoelectronic applications. Key projects include sensor applications of 2D materials and photocatalytic textile treatments. She has authored/co-authored over 15 peer-reviewed articles, emphasizing nanocomposite characterization and stimulated Raman scattering phenomena. Notable collaborations include work at Rigaku Europe and Reykjavik University.
Her recent studies explore the impact of ceramic nanoparticles on polymer matrices, UV-induced photodegradation of pharmaceuticals, and defect-based conductivity in CdS/TiO2 systems. She actively uses computational tools like Siesta (DFT) and experimental techniques such as XRD and PL spectroscopy.
