Andreas Stadler is a Senior Scientist at the Jülich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS) within Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. He is also a LINXS Fellow and member of the Integrative Pharmacology and Drug Discovery Working Group 2, serving as a Guest Researcher in May–June 2023.
- PhD in Physics from Technical University Munich and University Pierre and Marie Curie (2009)
- Habilitation in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University (2019)
His research focuses on the structure and dynamics of intrinsically disordered proteins and the relevance of molecular flexibility for biological function, employing advanced techniques such as:
- Quasielastic Incoherent Neutron Spectroscopy
- Coherent X-ray Diffraction
- Small-Angle Neutron and X-ray Scattering (SANS, SAXS)
- Neutron Spin-Echo Spectroscopy
