Andreas Soteriou

Dr. Andreas Soteriou is a Professor of Service Operations Management at the University of Cyprus, serving as Vice Chair of the Department of Business and Public Administration and Director of the Center of Entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. in Service Operations Management from the University of Southern California (USA). His research focuses on operational efficiency in service industries, healthcare systems, and quality excellence. He has contributed to leading journals such as Management Science and Operations Management Research, and his work has been widely cited internationally. Dr. Soteriou is affiliated with the American College of Greece as a Visiting Faculty member and has held roles on boards like Eurobank Cyprus Ltd and the University of Cyprus.

His research interests include improving productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction across diverse sectors. He has pioneered methodologies for integrating leadership practices with employee engagement in healthcare settings and has explored synergies between corporate governance and organizational value. His recent work examines pricing strategies and inventory management in retail environments.
