Andreas Nielsen Hald is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Public Health - Department of Health Services Research, Aarhus University, Denmark. His research focuses on how healthcare systems function in practice, with particular attention to professional collaboration, implementation of interventions, and digital health solutions' impact on care delivery.
As a public health sociologist, Hald investigates how healthcare professionals collaborate, how organizations shape professional work, and how interventions influence health outcomes. His research employs mixed-methods approaches to uncover mechanisms that improve collaboration and strengthen healthcare interventions. Key areas of expertise include interprofessional collaboration, healthcare organization, digital health technologies, organizational sociology, and implementation science.
Hald collaborates with researchers from multiple international institutions including the University of Copenhagen, University of Toronto, University of Malawi, University of Sydney, and University of Melbourne. His work aims to generate evidence that improves healthcare delivery, strengthens professional collaboration, and informs policy on digital health solutions and health inequalities across different contexts.

Hald teaches organizational change processes in the public health programme, previously teaching health behavior and personality courses for public health, medicine, and odontology students.
