Andreas Macke

Andreas Macke is a Professor of Atmospheric Physics at the University of Leipzig and Director of the Leibniz Institute for Tropospheric Research (TROPOS) in Leipzig, Germany. He also serves as Head of the Department of Remote Sensing of Atmospheric Processes at TROPOS. His academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions including the University of Hamburg, University of Kiel, and IFM-GEOMAR, where he held positions from Assistant Professor to full Professor before his current dual appointment.
