Andreas Lyberatos

Andreas Lyberatos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Technology, University of Crete. He obtained his B.Sc. in Physics from the University of London (1982) and a Ph.D. in Physics (1986) from the same institution. His research focuses on

• Magnetic viscosity in nanoparticles and thin films
• High-speed switching dynamics
• FePt media for heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR)
• Ballistic thermal transport in magnetic multilayers
