Andreas Küffner

Dr. Andreas Küffner is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology in Marburg, Germany, under Prof. Dr. Tobias Erb's group (AG Erb). His research focuses on biomolecular condensation, carbon concentrating mechanisms (CCMs), and synthetic biology. He completed his doctoral studies at ETH Zurich, investigating bio-catalytic reaction engineering through biomolecular condensation.

Key research areas include the structure and function of pyrenoid matrices in algae, phase-separated compartments for CO₂ fixation, and engineering novel biocatalytic systems.
