Andreas Huber

Andreas Huber is a Researcher at the Department of Technology and Environmental Sociology at Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus-Senftenberg. He holds a diploma in sociology from the University of Bamberg (1999–2006), with specialization in European social science studies and empirical research methods. His academic trajectory includes international exchanges at the Universidad Deusto Bilbao (Spain), and in Bordeaux and Aix-en-Provence (France). From 2007–2021, he worked as a research associate at the European Institute for Energy Research (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), contributing to EU-funded projects on energy renovation processes, household energy practices, CO₂ footprint analysis, and socio-spatial transformations in infrastructural river areas.
