معرفی
Dr. Andreas Glüsen is a Senior Scientist and project leader at the Institute of Energy Technologies – Electrochemical Process Engineering (IET-4) within Forschungszentrum Jülich. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from Philipps Universität Marburg (1998) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Ferrara, Italy. Since 2000, he has specialized in electrochemical processes at Forschungszentrum Jülich, with current focus on PEM water electrolysis, materials characterization, component stability under dynamic conditions, and data acquisition systems.
His research centers on electrochemical engineering with emphasis on:
- PEM electrolysis and fuel cell technologies
- Electrocatalyst development and characterization
- Membrane electrode assembly design
- System optimization for energy conversion
- Advanced manufacturing techniques
- Performance and stability analysis
Glüsen's recent publications (2014-2024) demonstrate strong focus on electrochemical engineering innovations, particularly in direct methanol fuel cells and PEM electrolysis systems. His work frequently explores materials optimization, process engineering solutions, and novel characterization methods to enhance efficiency and durability of electrochemical energy systems.
He leads research projects in electrochemical process engineering and collaborates extensively within Forschungszentrum Jülich's energy research initiatives.
