Andreas Ernst Riegler

Andreas Ernst Riegler is an Assistant Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, based at the Research Center Hagenberg. He is affiliated with the Automotive/Mobility, Medical Engineering/TIMed, and Smart Production centers of excellence, as well as the Digital Media Lab and Human Interfaces & Virtual Environments research groups. His work focuses on human-centered technologies in automated driving, augmented and virtual reality interfaces, and cross-virtuality analytics.

His recent research explores transitional interfaces for future mobility and the integration of helmet-mounted AR in vehicles. He has also pioneered holistic approaches combining driving and traffic simulations to improve safety and usability.
