معرفی
Andreas Dahlin is a Full Professor in Applied Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. His research focuses on functional nanostructures, particularly in the design of bioanalytical devices and synthetic biological systems at the nanoscale. He leads a multidisciplinary group exploring applications in supramolecular chemistry, polymer physics, and plasmonic sensing technologies.
His academic career includes a PhD in Nanoplasmonic Biosensors (2008) and extensive contributions to nanopore technology, electrochromic displays, and protein-trapping mechanisms. Dahlin has collaborated on over 79 publications, emphasizing plasmonic sensors, nanomaterials, and biomolecular interactions.
Research highlights include developing nanoplasmonic architectures for membrane-mediated sensing, electrochromic materials for display technologies, and macromolecular gate systems for protein trapping. His work bridges fundamental science with applied innovations, addressing challenges in biomedicine and materials engineering.
Key projects include plasmonic electronic paper, tunable structural colors, and high-contrast electrochromic devices. Dahlin actively mentors PhD and postdoctoral researchers, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to nanotechnology and sensor development.
