Andreas Barckow

Professor Andreas Barckow is an Honorary Professor at WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management since January 2016. He previously held an honorary position at Justus-Liebig University Gießen (2008–2015) and taught at Paderborn University (1995–2000). His career includes leading Deloitte's IFRS Centre of Excellence (2001–2015) and serving as President of the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany (ASCG) until 2021. Since July 2021, he chairs the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in London.

Barckow earned his doctorate in Business Administration from Paderborn University (2003) and studied at both Monash University and Paderborn.
