Dr. Andrea Wiegeshoff is a Lecturer at the University of Bonn and University of St. Gallen, with a primary affiliation at Philipps University of Marburg. She holds a Habilitation in History and previously served as Akademische Rätin a.Z. at Marburg's Department of Modern History (2014–2023). Her research focuses on epidemic history, British/U.S. imperial history, and global/transnational historical frameworks. Key projects include her Habilitation on 19th-century epidemic governance in the British Empire and leadership in the SFB/Transregio 138 project on security dynamics.
