Andrea Weber-Hansen

Andrea Weber-Hansen holds dual roles as Vice Dean at the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture and Head of the Competence Center for Product and Textile at the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. She earned a PhD in process engineering from ETH Zurich and has over 15 years of academic and industry experience. Her research focuses on sustainable textile innovation, circular systems, and interdisciplinary design methodologies. Key projects include the DAFAT initiative for 3D color application on textiles and the ZÜRCULAR project addressing local textile recycling systems.
