معرفی
Andrea Scotti is a Wallenberg Academy Fellow at Lund University, Sweden, and a LINXS Fellow specializing in Advanced Rheometry for Neutron and X-ray Science. He serves as a Core Group member and Working Group 1 member (Infrastructure Development) within the LINXS International Centre for X-ray and Neutron Science.
His research integrates rheology with neutron and X-ray scattering techniques to investigate soft matter and complex fluid behavior under flow conditions. This interdisciplinary work bridges physics, materials science, and engineering to develop advanced experimental infrastructure for rheo-scattering measurements.
Dr. Scotti holds the prestigious Wallenberg Academy Fellowship, awarded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation to support outstanding independent researchers in Sweden.
- Wallenberg Academy Fellowship
His fellowship provides substantial funding to lead an independent research group focused on innovating rheometry methodologies for neutron and X-ray facilities. This includes developing instrumentation for simultaneous rheological and scattering measurements.
At LINXS, he actively contributes to building international research infrastructure through the Advanced Rheometry theme, collaborating with neutron and X-ray facilities across Europe to advance experimental capabilities in soft matter characterization.
