Andrea Rodighiero is a Full Professor at the University of Verona, affiliated with the Department of Cultures and Civilizations. His academic roles include membership in the Faculty Board of the PhD in Philology, Literature, and Performance Studies, and the Commissione Ricerca. He leads research in Greek literature, philology, and reception studies.
Research Interests: Focus on ancient Greek literature, tragedy (especially Sophocles), epic poetry (Homer), lyric genres, and the classical tradition's reception in modern adaptations. He studies philology, translation of classical texts, and cultural heritage.
