Andrea Pühringer is a Professor of Music Didactics in Primary Education at the Vienna University College of Teacher Education (PH Wien), focusing on diversity education. She holds a PhD from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (2020) and has taught at multiple institutions since 2002. Her research emphasizes aesthetic education, cultural diversity in schools, and interdisciplinary approaches to music pedagogy. She leads the project C25 developing innovative music education modules and co-founded the Culture Club at PH Wien. Active in international collaborations with institutions like the Vienna Konzerthaus and Schauspielhaus, she also produces educational resources like Happy Music Lessons and hosts a podcast for educators.
