Andrea McCrary

Andrea McCrary is an Assistant Professor in the English & Writing Studies Department within the College of Arts & Sciences at Queens University of Charlotte, teaching across the Professional Writing and Rhetoric program, First Year Writing Program, and General Education Program.

Her academic credentials include:

Dr. McCrary's research centers on feminist rhetoric, social movement and protest discourse, public memory construction through counterstory, and visual rhetoric in murals/street art. She integrates contemplative and critical pedagogies to examine how storytelling shapes meaning-making, empowering students as critical consumers and creators of information in civic contexts.
