Andrea Marie Baiocchi is a Lecturer at the University of Music Würzburg, specializing in Vocal Accompaniment, Song Interpretation, and the Alexander Technique. She was born in Chicago and holds a Bachelor's degree and Performer's Diploma from Indiana University Bloomington, where she earned the institution's highest musical honor, the Performer's Certificate.
Her career includes participation in masterclasses at prestigious institutions such as Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Steans Institute Ravinia, Britten-Pears Aldeburgh, and the Franz Schubert Institute Baden-bei-Wien. She has performed at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall, Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna Musikverein, and Canadian Opera Company's Four Seasons Center, with a focus on solo and chamber music collaborations (e.g., Duo-Nuage with cellist Lillia Keyes).
Notable accolades include a 2002 First Prize in Piano from the National Society of Arts and Letters and finalist status at the 2009 Nadia et Lili Boulanger International Piano Competition.
