Andrea Malchiodi

Andrea Malchiodi is a Full Professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) in Pisa, Italy, affiliated with the Class of Sciences. He holds a Physics degree from the University of Milan and a PhD from SISSA, Trieste. His research focuses on geometric analysis, particularly problems involving lack of compactness and variational structures addressed via topological methods. He has authored influential works including books on perturbation methods, semilinear elliptic problems, and conformal geometry. Before joining SNS in 2015, he held professorships at SISSA and the University of Warwick.
