Andrea Lawlor is an Associate Professor of English at Mount Holyoke College, specializing in creative writing and queer/trans writing. Their work spans fabulist and utopian genres, blending experimental narrative with social critique.

Recent publications include a 2024 foreword to Virginia Woolf’s Orlando and 2017 Ploughshares poems critiquing topics from Donald Trump to marine pollution. Common themes include identity fluidity, socio-political commentary, and eco-queer narratives.
