Dr. Andrea Herbst is a Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, specializing in energy technology and systems. She holds a doctorate from Europa Universität Flensburg and has extensive experience in modeling industrial decarbonization pathways, circular economy impacts, and energy policy. Her work focuses on linking macroeconomic models with bottom-up energy demand analysis, particularly in the industrial sector.

- Key Projects: Impact Assessment of the Sustainable Product Initiative, REFLEX energy system analysis, and SET-Nav roadmap for clean energy innovation
