Andrea F. Snell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Akron. She holds a Ph.D. in Measurement and Human Differences from the University of Georgia (1995). Her research focuses on measurement and statistical issues in personnel selection, job performance assessment, and longitudinal data analysis. She teaches graduate courses in research methods, multivariate analysis, and advanced statistics. Her work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology. Her office is located in CAS 328, and she can be reached at asnell@uakron.edu.
Her research interests include biographical information usage in personnel selection, performance assessment, and temporal analysis of individual differences. She has contributed to studies on job-seeking behaviors of older workers and multicultural teaching strategies. Dr. Snell’s recent publications explore training efficacy for mature job seekers and applicant behavior in selection processes.
