Andrea Delaplace is a PhD candidate in Museum Studies and Heritage at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, affiliated with the doctoral school ED 441 History of Art. She is supervised by Dominique Poulot and actively engaged in research groups such as the Groupe de Recherche en Histoire du Patrimoine et des Musées (HiPaM) and the Association de la recherche sur l'image photographique (ARIP). Her work explores the evolving narratives of immigration history through museum practices, particularly focusing on the Cité nationale de l'histoire de l'immigration in Paris.
Her research intersects with Heritage Studies, Museum Studies, and Migration Studies, informed by ethnological and anthropological frameworks. She presented her work at the ACHS 2016 conference, contributing to discussions on multi-vocality in interpreting migration experiences.
Key publications include her 2015 article in Cahiers de l'Ecole du Louvre, which examines the development of the Paris Museum of Immigration History.
