Andrea Biondi

Andrea Biondi, DNP, NNP, CPNP, is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing, MGH Institute of Health Professions. With over 20 years of experience as a Pediatric and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, her work focuses on pediatric acute and primary care, newborn care, and palliative care principles.

Her expertise lies in individualized, compassionate care for newborns with declining trajectories, including maternal complications and congenital anomalies. She advocates for nurse education in palliative care interventions through patient and family exemplars.

Dr. Biondi actively presents at conferences, covering topics like Pediatric Emergencies: Red Flags for the School Nurse, Drug Use in School-Age and Adolescents, and Vaccine Hesitancy in Primary Healthcare. Her scholarly work includes contributions to the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Nursing 6th Edition and clinical affiliations with Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
