Andre Laestadius

Andre Laestadius is an Associate Professor at Oslo Metropolitan University, affiliated with the Faculty of Technology, Art and Design and the Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on mathematical quantum chemistry, particularly on density-functional theory (DFT) and coupled-cluster theory, with applications in ground and excited state analysis.

Current projects include the ERC-funded REGAL project, which investigates Moreau-Yosida regularization in DFT, and the RCN-funded CCerror project. His work spans quantum chemistry, physics, and mathematical modeling, with recent publications analyzing DFT in quantum electrodynamical and Dicke Hamiltonian contexts.
