Anders Nes is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at NTNU in Trondheim. His research focuses on philosophy of mind, perception, language, and action, with notable contributions to debates on the perception-cognition distinction and the nature of conscious inference. He has held previous affiliations including Researcher at the Center for the Study of Mind in Nature (CSMN) in Oslo, and fellowships at Oxford University's Christ Church and Balliol Colleges.
