Anastasia Wilson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Augusta University’s College of Science and Mathematics. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences (2016) from Clemson University and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics (2009) from North Carolina State University. Prior to her current role, she served as a full-time lecturer at Clemson University and worked as a Research Engineering Student Trainee at NASA Langley Research Center.

Dr. Wilson’s research focuses on mathematical modeling, computational methods, and numerical analysis for interdisciplinary applications, particularly in nonlinear reactive transport, adsorption processes, and multiphysics systems. Her work spans collaborations with chemical engineers, aerospace engineers, and computational scientists at institutions like NASA Langley, Politecnico di Torino, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and the Oden Institute.
She has held significant service roles, including committee memberships in Faculty Policies, Promotion and Tenure, Graduate Committees, and leadership in the College Promotion & Tenure Committee. Her teaching interests include calculus, differential equations, numerical analysis, and optimization.
