Anastasia Stavridou is a Lecturer in Intercultural Communication at the University of Manchester's Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies (CTIS). She joined CTIS in September 2022 after completing her PhD in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick and serving briefly as an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Recent publications explore discursive practices in high-performance sports, anti-Chinese racism during the pandemic, and identity negotiation in verbal aggression. Her work intersects with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education and cultural understanding.
