Anass Sedrati is a researcher at the Division of Communication Systems within the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. He holds advanced degrees in telecommunications engineering (M.Sc., Telecom ParisTech, 2011) and computer science (M.Sc., KTH, 2012; Ph.D., INPT Rabat, 2022).

His research focuses on AI governance, AI applications in telecommunications, frequency allocation, sociotechnology, and Internet of Things security. He has authored/co-authored over 10 publications with 100+ citations and led multiple international projects. Since July 2025, he serves as Vice Director of the SWEWIN research center at KTH, dedicated to next-generation wireless technologies like 6G.
He actively participates in the Swedish National Committee for AI Standardization and EU working groups on telecommunications and AI governance.
