Anant K. Sundaram is a Clinical Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, where he has served since 2005. His expertise spans corporate valuation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and the financial implications of climate change. He has held previous academic roles at Thunderbird School of Management and the University of Michigan.
Education: PhD in Finance from Yale University (1987), PGDM (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (1978), and BSc/MSc from Madras Christian College (1976).
Research focuses on integrating climate change into business strategy, including pioneering work on the 'Fossil Fuel Beta' metric and co-editing the Handbook of Business and Climate Change (2023). He has developed influential executive education programs like Back In Business and the corporate valuation app uValue.
Awards include the Tuck Teaching Excellence Award (2016) and multiple recognition for innovative teaching at Thunderbird. His work bridges academia and practice, advising global firms on valuation, sustainability, and governance.
