Professor Anand Pandyan serves as Executive Dean for the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at Bournemouth University. Originally trained as an engineer with a BEng in Electrical and Electronics and a PG Dip in Medical Instrumentation from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India, he transitioned to clinical engineering at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, before pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Strathclyde. His career includes transformative roles at Keele University, where he established the School of Allied Health Professions, and ongoing research in rehabilitation technology and neurological injury recovery.
