Anahi Luna is a Mexican researcher affiliated with the School of History and Art History at the University of East Anglia (UEA), and a member of the Sainsbury Research Unit for the Arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas. Previously, she served as Project Curator at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts (2022–2023). Her doctoral research focuses on visual archives and female tattooing in Papua New Guinea's Central Province, alongside expertise in Mexican artist Miguel Covarrubias, for whom she is organizing a 2025 exhibition.

Her research interests span indigenous knowledge systems, material culture, and body arts, particularly in Pacific regions. She has been awarded the AHRC-CHASE doctoral scholarship (2023) and the Miguel Covarrubias Award in Museum Studies (2016).
Collaborative activities include participation in the 2025 workshop 'Experiences and Challenges of Fieldwork' at UEA, addressing ethical and methodological issues in anthropological research.
She contributes to curation and academic networks through her roles at the Sainsbury units, bridging museum studies and anthropological scholarship.
