Anagnostis Agelarakis is a Professor of Anthropology in the History Department at Adelphi University's College of Arts and Sciences. His career spans over four decades, with extensive fieldwork in archaeo-anthropological projects across 10 countries, including Iraq, Iran, Israel, Thailand, and Greece. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Anthropology and Archaeology from Columbia University (1989), and has authored/co-authored numerous books and articles on topics ranging from Neolithic populations to ancient medical practices.
