Ana Sequeira

Associate Professor Ana Sequeira is a marine ecologist leading research in marine megafauna movement and conservation at the Australian National University (ANU), with an adjunct role at the University of Western Australia. She heads the 'Statistical Modelling and Marine Megafauna Conservation' group, focusing on developing tools for conservation management. Her work includes the MegaMove project, endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade, addressing global marine spatial management challenges through big data synthesis.
