Dr. Ana Ruiz-Teran is a Senior Lecturer in Structural Engineering at Imperial College London's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, part of the Faculty of Engineering. She holds affiliations with the Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation and has industrial experience with firms like Apia XXI and Arenas y Asociados. Her expertise spans bridge engineering, seismic response, and dynamic behavior of structures. She earned a 6-year MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Cantabria, Spain, where she also completed a PhD on cable-stayed bridges, winning the best PhD award. She has taught at multiple institutions and contributed to advanced MSc programs in Concrete Structures.
