Ana Milivojević

Ana Milivojević serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology within the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Elected to her position on July 4, 2025, she holds a core faculty appointment in biochemical engineering and biotechnology, contributing to both undergraduate and graduate academic programs.

Her research specializes in downstream bioprocessing, with primary focus on isolation and purification methodologies for biotechnological products. This work addresses critical challenges in biopharmaceutical manufacturing where efficient purification directly impacts product yield, quality, and economic viability. Her secondary research domain involves advanced bioanalytical techniques for product characterization and quality control, essential for regulatory compliance in therapeutic biologics development.

Professor Milivojević teaches specialized courses including Isolation and Purification of Biotechnological Products at multiple academic levels, utilizing both Serbian and English curricula codes (BBI474, MIPBP). Her instructional responsibilities span undergraduate programs in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology as well as master's level coursework in bioprocess engineering.
