Ana Maria B C Segadães

Professor Ana Maria B C Segadães is a retired Professor at the University of Aveiro's Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield (1982) and earned the highest academic rank (Agregação) in Portugal (1998). Her research focuses on phase equilibria in refractories, ceramic processing, combustion synthesis of oxide powders, and recycling of industrial wastes. She has collaborated with institutions in Brazil, Spain, and the USA, including the University of California Santa Barbara and Federal University of São Carlos.
