Ana Luisa Trejos is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Western University's Faculty of Engineering. She holds the Tier-2 Canada Research Chair in Wearable Mechatronics and established the Wearable Biomechatronics Laboratory in 2013.

Her research focuses on wearable mechatronic devices for medical applications, including tremor suppression systems and smart orthotic devices for elbow, wrist, hand, and neck rehabilitation. She specializes in sensor/actuator design, biosignal modeling, and intelligent control systems integration.
She works in the Wearable Biomechatronics Laboratory, developing unobtrusive devices that combine biomechanics with advanced control algorithms. Her work has significant applications in assistive technologies and post-injury rehabilitation.
