Ana Isabel Neira Campos

Ana Isabel Neira Campos is a full Professor in the Department of History at the Universidad de León, affiliated with the College of Philosophy and Letters. Her research focuses on prehistoric lithic technology, human mobility, and Quaternary geodiversity.

Her work emphasizes the analysis of lithic raw materials (chert, radiolarite) and technological patterns in Mesolithic and Paleolithic contexts across the Cantabrian Mountains and Iberian Peninsula. Key themes include territorial organization, chaîne opératoire studies, and the Middle-to-Upper Paleolithic transition.
