Ana Cuevas Badallo

Ana Cuevas Badallo is a Full Professor at the Institute for the Study of Science and Technology, University of Salamanca, and is affiliated with the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Aesthetics. She coordinates the research group Studies on Science and Technology (CaUSAL) and supervises PhD students in interdisciplinary research areas.

Her research focuses on:

• Epistemology of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology
• Public Scientific Controversies and Dialogic Expertise
• Bioethics and Risk Management
• Cultural Evolution and Social Memory
• Sociology of Scientific Modeling

She leads projects like The role of distributed and dialogic expertise in resolving public controversies and Indicators of scientific culture. Her supervised theses address topics ranging from bioethics to evolutionary theory and scientific policy.
