Ana Claudia Harten

Ana Claudia Harten, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is a Professor in the Special Education and Communication Sciences and Disorders department at Eastern Michigan University (EMU), where she previously served as Director of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program. A certified speech-language pathologist with clinical experience in both the United States and Brazil, she teaches courses including Multicultural Issues in Speech-Language Pathology, Neurogenic Disorders, and Voice and Craniofacial Disorders. Her national leadership includes editorial roles for ASHA Special Interest Groups, board membership on ASHA’s Continuing Education and Multicultural Issues Boards, and service on multiple ASHA Convention Program Committees.
