Ana C. Zamora Martinez

Dr. Ana C. Zamora Martinez is a Clinical Professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, serving as Medical Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Clinic and co-director of the autoimmune ILD Clinic at Mayo Clinic Arizona. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, she earned her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León before completing extensive training in the United States including residency at Texas Tech University and fellowship at Mayo Clinic.

Her research focuses on Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary fibrosis, Collagen Vascular Diseases, Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, and related conditions. Recent publications (2023-2024) demonstrate ongoing contributions to understanding genetic risk factors for pulmonary fibrosis, clinical trial outcomes, and diagnostic approaches for connective tissue disease-associated ILD.

Dr. Zamora Martinez has received numerous honors including the Top Performance in Likelihood to Recommend Mayo Clinic Arizona (2023) and multiple teaching and research awards throughout her career.
