An Reyners

Prof. An Reyners is a Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). They hold dual appointments in the Personalized Cancer Treatment (PCT) and Innovative Clinical Studies and Long-term Treatment Consequences in Cancer (InClinS) departments. Their research focuses on oncology with particular emphasis on gastrointestinal stromal tumors, ovarian cancer, and palliative care integration. Prof. Reyners has led 212+ research outputs, including phase II clinical trials and genomic studies.

Key research interests include molecular mechanisms of cancer, immunotherapy advancements, and long-term patient outcomes. Notable contributions include the Dutch nationwide Archipelago of Ovarian Cancer Research biobank evaluation and studies on immune checkpoint inhibitors' long-term effects.
