Amy Zanrosso

Amy Zanrosso is a pianist, collaborator, and educator affiliated with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and The Nueva School in Hillsborough, CA. As a faculty member and chamber music coach at the Pre-College Academy of SFCM, she mentors students while performing extensively as a soloist and chamber musician.

She has appeared as soloist with the Santa Rosa Symphony, Symphony of the Redwoods, Russian Chamber Orchestra, and others. Her teaching emphasizes technical mastery and interpretive depth, shaped by her own mentors such as Bruce Vogt and her Italian immigrant mother.

Amy’s collaborations include the RossoRose Duo (2015–present) and ongoing projects with cellists Evan Kahn, Angela Lee, and ensembles like the Circadian String Quartet and Symphony of the Kootenays.

Future aspirations include learning and performing every piano chamber music piece ever written, alongside continued teaching and performances at venues like Throckmorton Concert Series and Lincoln Center.
