Amy Schulz

Amy Schulz is the University Diversity and Social Transformation Professor and holds a Professorship in Health Behavior and Health Equity at the University of Michigan. She is a sociologist specializing in the intersection of social and physical environmental exposures contributing to health inequities, with a focus on community-based participatory research (CBPR). Her work emphasizes collaborative research with community, practice, and academic partners to address health disparities through intervention and policy measures.

Her current research involves the Community Action to Promote Healthy Environments (CAPHE) partnership, addressing air pollution inequities and implementing public health action plans in the Detroit Metropolitan area.
