Amy R. Ehrlich

Amy R. Ehrlich is a Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Geriatrics at Montefiore Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She also serves as Medical Director of Montefiore Home Health Agency. Dr. Ehrlich graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Beth Israel Hospital.

Her research focuses on dementia screening, mild cognitive impairment, and preventing fires/burns among elderly populations. She has contributed to geriatric education, directing the Geriatrics Fellowship program and developing interdisciplinary home care initiatives.

Dr. Ehrlich’s publications (2005–2017) address geriatric care challenges, emphasizing burn prevention, cognitive assessment, and healthcare utilization in aging populations. Her work bridges clinical practice and academic training, with a focus on improving elderly patient outcomes through innovative programs.
