Amy Parkhill is an Associate Professor at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, St. John Fisher College. She holds a Ph.D., M.S., and Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, along with a B.S. from Niagara University. Dr. Parkhill’s research focuses on cultural competence in healthcare, medication adherence in neuromuscular diseases, and community outreach, particularly in Guatemala and with local cancer organizations like Hope Lodge. She teaches courses in pharmacology, diversity, and cancer biology, and has published extensively on LGBTQ+ inclusion in pharmacy curricula, myotonic dystrophy patient care, and global health initiatives. Her work has earned recognition, including the 2016 Make a Difference Award from 13Thirty Cancer Connect.
