Amy McLennan

Dr. Amy McLennan is an Associate Professor at the ANU School of Cybernetics, specializing in medical anthropology and chronic illness research. She holds adjunct roles at the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia. With a DPhil from the University of Oxford, her interdisciplinary expertise spans medical sciences, French, and policy work. Her research focuses on global health governance, chronic disease management, and the intersection of technology with societal systems. McLennan has advised on policy reforms in Australia’s Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and collaborates internationally on projects addressing cybercrime, migration, and sustainable development goals. She is a John Monash Scholar and GSL Global Goals Hero, emphasizing her commitment to impactful, cross-disciplinary solutions.
