Amy Lynn Schiffner

Amy Lynn Schiffner is a Professor in the Department of Dance at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She oversees the MA Dance Education program and the Curriculum Specialization track within the MFA Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) program. As UH site director for ArtBridge America, she develops interdisciplinary arts education curricula for K-12 schools across Hawaiʻi.

Her educational background includes an MFA from University of California Irvine, BA from California State University Long Beach, and a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Credential from CBU. Schiffner's research focuses on arts curriculum, instruction, and assessment, with national publications and presentations. Her creative work includes contemporary dance choreography and theatre productions for young audiences.
